Services » Technology Consultation
Without context one is easily overwhelmed by a sheer abundance of technical information. Many people are left confused by this lack of context and end up shopping categorically [ie: good, better, best] for technology. Since one is presumably going to be utilizing a given piece of technology for the immediate future, it is prudent to ensure that piece of technology is capable of meeting the demands you intend to place upon it. This becomes even more true if multiple systems are intended to interoperate with one another.
Don't let the blue shirts of a large electronics department store that shall remain nameless sell you a bunch of tech equipment and service contracts you don't really need. They're not listening to your technical requirements. They will frequently respond to anything you say by starting with the "best" product, working their way down to "better" product and only after a lot of bad noise will they divulge the existence of the "good" product. If you have any technical question beyond what is summarized on the sales tag, they're generally at a total loss.
